Meet our falconer and get up close with 8-10 magnificent birds of prey – owls, hawks, and other remarkable species. An unforgettable opportunity to connect with these extraordinary birds in the natural setting of Hidden Brook.
Choose from three unique experiences. Hidden Brook collects a reservation fee at booking – the falconer receives the remainder directly from guests on the day of the experience.

Small Group Experience
Duration: 3 hours
First 1.5 hours – Meet the Birds
Your experience begins with an in-depth introduction to the world of falconry. Learn about each bird, how to properly handle them, how to feed them, and how to interact with these remarkable animals. You will get hands-on time with the birds before ever stepping outside.
Second 1.5 hours – Walkabout at Hidden Brook
You and the birds head out onto the Hidden Brook property. The falconer commands the birds, and they swoop down from the trees directly onto your gloved arm. They get fed, return to a perch, and wait until summoned again. It is an extraordinary experience to watch these birds doing exactly what they were trained to do – in their natural habitat, on the land right here at Hidden Brook.

1-4 guests: $350 (flat rate – same price whether it’s 1 person or 4)
5 guests: $400
6 guests: $450
Reservation fee: $25 collected by Hidden Brook at booking.
Remaining balance paid to the falconer day-of via Zelle, Venmo, check, or cash.
______ OPTION 2 | 7-15 PEOPLE
Large Group Experience
Designed for larger groups of 7-15 people. Same three-hour format as the Small Group experience, with slightly less one-on-one time as we spread the attention across more guests. The wonder of it all remains fully intact.
First 1.5 hours – Meet the Birds
Learn about falconry, each bird’s history and personality, proper handling, feeding, and how to best interact with the birds. Everyone in the group gets time with the birds before heading out.
Second 1.5 hours – Walkabout at Hidden Brook
The group heads out onto the property. The falconer commands the birds, and they fly from the trees directly onto your gloved arm. They get fed and perch nearby until summoned again – an incredible thing to see at this scale.

Reservation fee: $10 per person collected by Hidden Brook at booking. No refund for no-shows or cancellations. Extra guests pay at check-in.

Falcon Hunts
The Ancient Art of Falconry
Step back in time to an era before shotguns, when the hunt relied on the extraordinary partnership between a skilled falconer and highly trained birds of prey.
Watch as falcons take to the winter sky, gliding almost silently above the landscape – their keen eyes searching for movement below. Once a rabbit or squirrel is spotted, the falcon dives with breathtaking speed, extending powerful talons to capture its quarry. Working alongside the falcon, the falconer and guests locate and flush game, completing a hunting tradition refined over centuries.
At Hidden Brook Sporting Club, this remarkable piece of history comes to life each winter. Against the natural beauty of the Brushy Mountains, guests experience the timeless art, skill, and instinct of traditional falconry – a rare opportunity to witness, and be a part of, the ancient bond between hunter and bird of prey.
