This full-day Introduction to Fly Fishing class is a hands-on experience designed to take beginners from zero to confident on the water. Students learn essential gear knowledge, casting fundamentals, rigging, fly selection, and basic entomology through a mix of indoor instruction and outdoor practice. In the afternoon, everything comes together with guided, instructor-supervised fishing time where students set up their own gear and receive individual coaching. By the end of the day, participants leave knowing what to practice, how to troubleshoot common issues, and how to continue their fly fishing journey on their own.
