Great Way to Build Experience
Trap Shooting
[Coming Winter 2025/2026]
Our trap field will extend across a wide open area with a trap house sending clay targets at predictable angles away from the shooter. It will be a state-of-the-art field, in combination with our Skeet field, and all shooters will enjoy the beautiful Brushy Mountain views as your backdrop.
Trap shooting delivers a focused, lively experience, with each target’s distinct flight offering countless chances to hone skills. The goal is to break 25 out of 25 targets as individuals seek accuracy and finding reward in every shot.
What is Trap Shooting?
Trap shooting is one of the oldest clay target sports, offering shooters a straightforward yet challenging experience. A single trap house is positioned in front of the shooters, from which clays are launched away from the shooters. There are 5 shooting stations in a line, or arc, each 3 to 4 feet apart, about 16 yards behind the trap house.
